Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the website to work; others help us understand how the website is used. Similar technologies, such as information stored in your browser’s local storage, are covered by this policy too.

How we use cookies

We only use necessary cookies by default. Analytics cookies are used only if you agree to them in our cookie banner. Until you do, the scripts that would set them are not loaded. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time.

The cookies we use

Necessary

Needed for the website to work and stay secure: protection against bots, keeping your visit on the same server, and remembering your cookie choice. They do not track you and cannot be switched off.

Cookie Set by Duration Purpose
mffc_consent MyForexFunds 6 months Remembers your cookie choices, so we do not ask you again on every page.
__cf_bm Cloudflare 30 minutes Set by Cloudflare, which protects this website. It helps tell real visitors apart from automated bots. It contains no personal information.
AWSALB Amazon Web Services (hosting) 7 days Set by our hosting provider's load balancer so that your requests go to the same server during your visit.
AWSALBCORS Amazon Web Services (hosting) 7 days Does the same as AWSALB for requests made between our pages and our services.
trustedsite_visit TrustedSite 1 day Set by the TrustedSite security badge, which shows that this website is scanned daily for malware. It counts visits so the badge is shown correctly.
elementor Elementor (website builder) Stored in your browser until cleared Used by Elementor, the website builder behind this site, to display pages and their interactive elements correctly.
wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wp-settings-* WordPress Session to 1 year Only set for our staff when they log in to manage the website. Visitors never receive them.

Analytics

Help us understand how visitors use the website: which pages are visited, for how long and how people arrive. The data is aggregated and does not identify you. We use it only to improve the site.

Cookie Set by Duration Purpose
_ga Google Analytics 2 years Gives your browser a random ID so Google Analytics can count visits and see which pages are used. It does not identify you personally.
_ga_* Google Analytics 2 years Keeps track of your current visit (session) for Google Analytics 4.
_tccl_visitor GoDaddy (hosting) 1 year Set by our hosting provider's traffic statistics. Recognises returning visitors in aggregated, anonymous reports about website speed and usage.
_tccl_visit GoDaddy (hosting) 1 hour Groups the pages you view in one visit for the same hosting statistics.
_scc_session GoDaddy (hosting) 20 minutes Set by the same GoDaddy traffic script. Marks the current visit as one session.

Google Analytics and Consent Mode

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. We use Google Consent Mode, which tells Google tags whether you have agreed to analytics or advertising cookies, so they respect your choice. Google processes this data on our behalf; see Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Changing your choice

You can open your cookie settings at any time with the button below or the cookie button at the bottom left of every page. When you switch a category off, we delete its cookies from your browser.

Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies in their settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the website from working.

Record of your choice

To be able to show that we asked for your consent, we keep a record of your choice: a random ID, the choice you made, the date and a shortened version of your IP address that no longer identifies you. These records are deleted automatically after 12 months.

Changes to this policy

If we start using new cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent again where needed.
