1. Can you introduce yourself? (Age, location, hobbies)
My name is Danis, I am 35 years old and a dad of a 6 years old kid and a dog and cat owner. I am currently based in a Greek island. I used to be a sports guy but lately I am more into gaming and watching movies. Hopefully some day soon I will get back into sports.
2. How long have you been working at MFF? What were you doing before?
I first worked with MFF in April 2021 for the rebranding and the website design. We did all the great stuff you are seeing today. Since, April 2021 I was freelancing and consulting for the company but from April 2022, I joined full-time to run the website and Marketing team, and I couldn’t be happier. I have worked mostly in advertising in the last 7-8 years. Most of my career I have worked as a freelance consultant in London, Germany and Malta, working with some of the biggest agencies in the industry. I look forward to applying my experience and knowledge to MFF’s uniqueness to expand the opportunity further.
3. In which team are you working at MFF?/ What is your position?
I am the Creative Director of the company currently, leading the website and marketing team. MFF is unique as an entity however, as we all treat each other equally and communicate with each other on a daily basis.
4. What interests you about working at MFF?
The growth of the company over the past year was amazing. It’s interesting how small things on this field can boost the sales and the conversions. The most interesting part for me is that MFF is like my “baby” I have been there from the beginning watching it going from baby steps to running, to becoming an English Premier League captain.
5. How is your typical day here?
The days are a bit long. We have so many new things coming or already tested, and we have had to push it live over the last few months which cannot be written down in an interview. Let’s say a typical day can have from small design jobs to really difficult, large scale development projects.
6. Can you share your best experience at MFF?
When we started working on rebranding and growing the company there was a conversation between the owner of the company, another important member of MFF and myself. At the time MFF was a small fish in the market. The conversation was about how big the market is, how many participants there are and what part of the market we can take. We were convinced that the market size was a specific number. MFF is twice the size of what we thought the market size was approximately at that time. Moral of the story is, you never know until you know.
7. Do you remember your busiest day at MFF?
I can’t really remember many days that were not busy. The busiest day was by far when we upload the new website. There are a lot of side stories that really, I cannot share. Dealing with vendors and large scale projects often have difficult moments that exacerbate the feeling of being busy.
8. How do you find working as a part of a team here?
Amazing! I think you know the most difficult part when you work in teams is with whom you speak and for what reason. Here at MFF everyone is speaking with everyone with titles only determining responsibility and not hierarchy or any other bureaucracy in between. I can speak at the same time with the owner and the support agent that just joined the company on equal grounds and the respect is returned. The environment is unique.
9. What is your favourite funded trader story?
I am not really a FOREX guy, although I am learning. But the interview on youtube with Nico which you can see here, is very interesting to someone like me.
