Meet the MyForexFunds Staff – Angel Lopez, New York session Support Team Lead

• Can you introduce yourself? (Age, location, hobbies)

My name is Angel Lopez and I’m 23 years old. I was born in Venezuela but I’m currently residing in the US, North Carolina. My hobbies include soccer and trading. I was deeply fascinated with financial markets about 4 years back and then got fully indulged in it. Apart from that, I like to travel and explore beautiful places. As far as soccer goes, I take my time out every weekend for it. I am a social person, so I like to spend time with my friends and family.

Last but not the least, I am a foodie, so I love to try different cuisines to keep my stomach happy.

• How long have you been working at MFF? What were you doing before?

I’ve been working with MFF for about 17 memorable months now. I was an economics student before working for MFF. I have always been passionate about keeping myself informed about geopolitical events in the world today. It seems to me that nourishing the mind with relevant and interesting information and events is the best thing you could do today.

• In which team are you working at MFF? What is your position?

I’m the New York session support team lead, working in a team full of capable and talented colleagues. I am also the Spanish representative who gives support to all our Spanish speaking traders through social media, be it assisting them with their queries or doing some intriguing interviews which you can watch on our YouTube Channel! I and my team always try to make sure that their issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

• What interests you about working at MFF?

First and foremost, MFF has given me the opportunity to be a part of a tremendous work environment. From top up to bottom in the hierarchical chain, everyone is treated as an equal with mutual respect and not as an underling. This always maintains a really healthy and productive work environment. This is something that I greatly admire and interests me the most. As far as the work goes, it all comes in handy due to my experience in this field for years. I really love helping people especially if I can guide them and help them in their journey to be successful traders. Plus, one cannot ignore the perks that come with working remotely.

• How is your typical day here?

Busy and fast! It usually starts with reading my emails and all the dm’s from our Discord, Instagram, and Facebook channels. Since I am also responsible for looking after the Spanish community, I am constantly making sure their issues are handled alongside this. As the New York session support team lead, I also help assist the support team during the NY session in case of unusual/troublesome queries.

• Can you share your best experience at MFF?

Being part of this team is an honor, I could say that each of those who are part of the staff are super helpful and make you feel that you are in the right place, we are a family. I can remember when we all worked to achieve our goal of reviews in Trustpilot, and together we achieved it, it was totally pleasant. Our target was 350 reviews and we smashed with 700. We currently have 7,426 with a 4.9 total score. We are grateful that the community returns back the love and appreciation.

• Do you remember your busiest day at MFF?

I can vividly remember. That was the beginning of 2022 when one of the rival prop firms shut down. We were having new registrations with the speed of light. I was juggling across all our support channels due to heavy traffic, be it emails, chats, discord or social media. When it was over, we were really happy about our Family’s growth.

• How do you find working as a part of a team here?

MyForexFunds has changed my life as a person, as a trader, and as a colleague. I’ve moved to a different country, met new people, made very good friends and gained a lot of experience.

Above all, I cannot stress enough the amazing collaborative work environment. In a nutshell, I absolutely love working here.

• What is your favorite funded trader story?

Some time ago there was a trader who always wanted me to tell him my opinion about the EURUSD pair, but he didn’t really need it. The boy was a beast in the New York session, and he always had very good trades. Every Thursday he would come to the chat to ask me “hey where is the euro going to move now?” These memories will always make me feel like part of an international family, and you know, that’s what MyForexFunds is all about.
